Description: Rare convulte of items from 1936 Olympic Sailing events in Kiel - Germany while the vast majority of events took place in Berlin, the sailing competitions were held in Kiel, a city in northern Germany at the baltic sea while the games were opened in Berlin on Aug. 1, 1936 - the sailing events in Kiel started on Aug. 3rd, 1936 on offer are- unused original postcard - 9x14 cm - beautiful original pin - diameter about 3 cm - made of solid metal- entrance badge - measures about 3,1 x 9,8 cm - in the top row it says Opening celebration 3. VIII 1936 - at the bottom it says Xi. Olympic Games Sailing Kiel all 3 items are in very good condition - especially when you take their age of more than 80 years into account - however, originally it came with a small pin in order to attach it to your cloth - like a smal regular safety pin - besides this silk badge regular paper tickets where sold - it`s unclear to me and the german sports museum I contacted who got a paper and who got a silk ticket - maybe one got both - the silkl badge as a special souvenir for special guests ??
