Description: Rare, Collectible Le Mediterranee Nautical Knife, Never Used. A special nautical collectible, this folding knife is the first of its kind. When folded it resembles the hull of a boat. The blade extends from the handle slightly to create the keel. Handles are of New Guinea snakewood whch is extremely rare and well known for its distinctive pattern- no two are ever exactly alike. Blade is Sandvik 12C27 high carbon stainless steel. 3" blade, 4 & 1/2" folded, 7 1/2" overall. Made in Thiers, France. Along the spine of the knife runs the ships anchor.
