Description: I have been looking at Dietz Railroad Lanterns for years and have had many Street lanterns, which were my favorites, but I couldn’t resist this Paragon Launch Light. (Used for small watercraft). It is compact, extremely well made, and in this case, in very good condition! Measures about 11 inches tall and about 6 to 7 inches wide (depending on where you measure it). Everything works, and fits together so well. I did not add a wick or try to light it. There are small dings here and there, and a small dent to the top, but all are honest wear. The lenses show some wear, but no cracks or chips. The spring closure/clip closes crisply. The side red globe opens and snaps shut with perfection. I scanned the body and find no cracks or separations. ( I finally found one tight little slit of about 1/4 inch that you have to search for). All in all, a fine DIETZ Paragon Launch Lamp in great untouched condition.
