Description: This is my beloved Boston Acoustics Media Theater System. This is a COMPLETE system, including the rare surround speaker and ALL cabling and the original power supply - the holy grail of computer speaker systems back in the day. I purchased this as a $450 upgrade on a Gateway 2000 PC in June 1998. The system has given me nearly 26 years of amazing sound quality. But, just recently it suddenly stopped outputting audio. The entire system powers on, and the controls all work, but no sound comes out. I suspect there is a component failure inside the subwoofer. Some people say this can be fixed with new capacitors, but sadly, I don't have the expertise or time to do exploratory repairs. If you can get this working again you will enjoy amazing sound quality. Photos attached show everything included. There is small dent on the grille of one of the left speaker, and a dent in the grille of the surround speaker. The right speaker is slightly discolored from sun exposure. There are no cosmetic issues with the sub. Free ground shipping to the continental US, or local pickup.
