RARE & AUTHENTIC 1909 Hand Tinted PC STATE FAIR HURON, South Dakota w/ ZEPPELIN

Description: AUTHENTIC, RARE Antique Divided Back HAND TINTED Postcard PC Copyrighted 1909. Card is unposted with a message written in pencil on the back. Depicts the STATE FAIR at HURON, SOUTH DAKOTA SD. Shows a ZEPPELIN or DIRIGIBLE OVERHEAD. People are milling about in the EDWARDIAN DRESS of the day. The Agricultural Building is in the background. A HORSE and CARRIAGE as well as a HORSE and BUGGY can also be seen. THIS IS A VERY HIGH DETAIL and HIGH ACTION postcard!! VERY INTERESTING!! In good condition according to the Postcard Rating System with some corner/edge wear to be expected in a card that is well over 100 years old. It’s certainly not what I would call moderate wear. The left side of the card seems to have a bit more pronounced wear to the corners and edge. These flaws do not detract from the outstanding appearance of this card, however. Also, please note that ROPES are descending from the zeppelin. These appear as thin white lines and are NOT scratches. There is a very slight amount of surface dirt to the card which is barely visible. Otherwise, I see no evidence of rips, tears, creases, bends, or pinholes.
