Description: Pre-owned with surfaces and detail as depicted in the photos. Could stand a cleaning. The steamboat New York was a day passenger-sidewheel steamer launched in 1887 that operated in New York's Hudson River well past the turn of the century. She was very discernable by her three smokestacks located forward of the paddlewheel. As for the pin, the name "NEW YORK" appears to have been worn off the front of the pin but is visible (in reverse) on the back of the pin along with the "STERLING" stamp. Truly a historical piece of nautical memorabilia. Fourteen (14) day return privilege. Winning bidder to include $4.95 shipping & handling.
