Description: Old-time Movie Star ♥ Personality Beautiful and extremely hard to find, largest size, 24" tall, signed, teenage, singing star* ♫ ♫ ♪of radio and movies, (Universal Pictures) personality, "Deanna Durbin", portrait doll, circa 1938, by Ideal with beautiful composition and coloring, distinctive, lady-like features including sleep, brown eyes, perfect sable hair eyelashes as well as painted lower lashes, eyebrows, smoky eye shadow, excellent blush to her cheeks and knees, an open mouth with row of teeth and tongue, original long, medium brown human hair wig in perfect, original set and slender (teenage) style body with a swivel head and joints at her shoulders and hips. She is wearing all her original clothing, (as she wore in her Universal Pictures, movie, a fabulous two-piece attached blouse and plaid pleated skirt with separate one-piece undergarment and wonderful, rust velveteen, fitted jacket with puff sleeves and rick-rack trim, original black leatherette shoes and socks and is signed under wig on the back of her head: Deanna Durbin/Ideal Doll and across her shoulders: Ideal Doll 24. What a breath-taking example of this celebrity doll. She is in excellent condition with no lifting or flaking of paint surface, no body cracks or chips, no repairs, no stains or fading to clothing and no odors as she is from a smoke free home. She has not had any restoration and retains excellent coloring and blush with just a few, very faint paint craze lines, no missing eyelashes, no hair trim.
