RARE 1995 1st Rel. Pleasant Co. GT 9 American Girl Today Doll LNIB w Mix Match

Description: VERY RARE Pre Mattel GT 9 Girl of Today doll (FIRST RELEASE) looks like she's been stored in her box all these years! Amazing original, unretored condition. She bears a strong resemblance to Molly with her light brown hair and gray eyes. She comes in her original box - with GT9 on the sticker. She has squeezable vinyl, long soft eyelashes (all intact), and a beautiful head of thick shiny hair. She can hold a pose, eyes function normally, and clean with no marks or odors. She comes with her wrist tags. She is wearing the Mix Match outfit, tagged Pleasant Company 1995. This set includes oversized white button down oxford style shirt with Velcro closure, and knit magenta t-shirt, leggings, and underwear. Also includes denim and print reversible vest with AGoT logo patch, and black velvet shoes. Apparently there was a problem with these first release shoes (dye transfer) so they switched to using Samantha's Mary Jane shoes. This doll is evidence of that problem - please see pic of her feet! The hat was an accessory to this outfit - this denim bucket style hat has attached plaid bow and sunflower. All clothing is also clean with no odors. The white box is still in nice condition.
