Description: For your consideration today is a great 1977 Hess Tanker Truck in Original Box for sale. For the serious collector, this truck features a red on/off switch and a rarer cardboard insert variation. Overall the truck is in great condition. There are no missing pieces on the truck - everything is intact, original, and in great condition. All chrome pieces around the cab are original, intact, and in great shape without tarnishing. Some of the white plastic along the white trailer strip is starting to yellow, mostly on the corners and edges. The decals also have some scuff marks, dirt, and stains here and there as can be seen in the photos. The green plastic on the front of the driver’s side trailer right behind the cab is a little damaged as well. Despite its flaws, the truck still displays very nicely. Please view all photos for full details. The battery compartment is free of corrosion but for whatever reason I was unable to get the lights to function when tested. The original box is included in excellent shape as well. Both the box top and box bottom are in great shape with only minimal signs of wear and no major rips, tears, or stains.
