Description: Rare vintage 1958-1960 Elgin DuraPower 27j made in America automatic wristwatch that had a complete service in 11/24 and runs great and keeps very good time. This has a unique dial with great patina. This was the only true automatic made in America. At the 6 position on the dial it is marked American Made. It is a grade 761 with 27 jewels and is adjusted to position. The watch also still has its original signed crown. It has a new crystal and a new black leather band. The stainless steel case measures 34mm not including the crown and is in excellent condition. The watch is Waterproof, Shockproof, Dustproof and Anti-Magnetic.
