Description: This is a rare find, a 1940s store counter display promoting the sale of United States Defense Bonds. The beautifully designed display is 10x4 inches and features patriotic imagery that makes it a true collector's item. It's a must-have for anyone interested in militaria and the history of the United States during World War II. The item is original, and its authenticity is guaranteed. It's a piece of history that will make a great addition to any collection. This was found in my late parents' home. They were young farmers in ND during World War II. It just reminds me of the many sacrifices that were made back then. I'm also struck by the appearance of the customers. The women in hats, everyone dressed nicely! Even though they were in hard times. Please note this is not in perfect condition, although I think it's in quite good shape considering it is 80 years old. The edges where it bends, on each end, have some staining and damage, especially on the left side. This could be taped, I have not done so. A bit of water damage too on the folding portion on right. I try to be as clear as possible in my descriptions. Please contact me for further information. Thank you. *** Onemore thing! A portion will be going to support soldiers, veterans, and their beloved pets.
