Description: Very good copy of Sara Swan Griffin's "Little Stories About Lowell" published in Lowell in 1928. Green and gilt binding, illustrated with early photographs, and signed by the author on the inside cover. Griffin starts with Native American history related to the Lowell area, and gets into history of Belvedere district, some architecture, the canals of Lowell, and then to some history of the 3 towns that contributed to the formation of Lowell (Chelmsford, Dracut, and Tewksbury). Front cover has a little soiling; some wear to corners and to spine. A nice book for the lover of Northern Massachusetts.
