Description: A rare little book, 24 pages, written by George W. Hinckley and published by the Young Men's Christian Association. McDonald died at age 18 and was a student at the Good Will School and a favorite of Hinckley, who wrote this tribute to the young man. Nice red covers in very good shape--minor wear; gilded title and decorative design; paste-down photograph of McDonald is in very good shape. A few small stains (please see photos) inside but mostly in excellent condition. Note: I try to identify any flaws in books as much as possible. Sometimes a photo will catch something that I hadn't noticed when making the listing--so it's good practice to look at the photographs as well as to read the listing.
