Description: Rare 1883 “Novellen-Schatz” German Literary Journal, 24th Volume. The lower spine has been extensively repaired with professional archival glue to preserve the aesthetics of the book. A 3 inch chunk of the lower spine was brittle and chipped off. The upper spine has also been repaired where there was a large hinging. The book is vastly improved over what it was before and is even fit for display, but is not perfect due to being repaired. Some of the frayed and loose edges of the cloth board have been glued down as well. Sold as is!
