Description: RARE 1790 Keeling & Co. "CHESTER" LATE MAYER Black Rose Covered Tureen Dish. Manufacture #402158. Vintage auction find! History unknown. This is a rare find. I've seen plenty of the flow blue, but google even had a hard time finding this one. In excellent antique condition with one very small chip and some of the gold leafing has been worn thin. Visible in photos. The chip is hard to see. It is circled red in the next to last photo and last photo is greatly magnified so that you can see the chip. The inside has some spots/ imperfections from original creation. There are no cracks. This item will be shipped Priority mail, double boxed with lots of packing material to ensure it's safe delivery, which will cause this item to be more expensive to ship. Insured mail would be extra, which I would recommend since Priority only insures up to $50. What a wonderful piece of history to add to your collection!
