I bought these for trolling in river systems because they are so well built and are designed to track really well even at very high speeds. You don't break off lips like other minnow style baits, and surprisingly for whatever reason, I find that I don't lose as many as I thought when I troll shallower water where I occasionally bump bottom structure.
