Description: From Ruby-Spears' 1986 Animated American TV Series . . . RAMBO: THE FORCE OF FREEDOM Hand-Painted TV Animation Production Art Original Cels Matched to Their Original Backgrounds Pick from more than 25 sets of original animation production artwork from Rambo: The Force of Freedom (simply known as Rambo), the 1986 animated American television series based on John Rambo. Rambo is the live-action character from David Morrell's book First Blood and the subsequent films First Blood (1982) and Rambo: First Blood Part II (1985). See complete list of the sets available further below. This animated series was adapted for television by story editor/head writer Michael Chain and also spawned a toy line. The animated series ran on television for 65 episodes, and was produced by Ruby-Spears Enterprises. It debuted on April 14, 1986, as a five-part miniseries, which was renewed in September 1986 as a daily cartoon. Each set is a combination of original hand-painted animation production cels (9x10½ inches) matched to their original hand-painted TV production backgrounds (10x14 inches). Each cel/background set contains from 2 to 4 individual pieces of animation artwork and the buyer gets all. Ruby-Spears Enterprises stabled the cels to their respective backgrounds to form the images seen on TV. The backgrounds offered in each set are one-of-a-kind original backgrounds. These are not photocopies, nor laser prints, nor giclées, but are the original backgrounds. The scans showf the actual animation artwork in each lot. Get discounts plus save on shipping when you buy more than one animation set in a day. We'll combine your cel/background sets into the same package and charge only the single set shipping rate for the entire package. To get the savings, buy just one animation set with normal shipping, then buy any others for "Local Pickup" (it's free, no shipping charge). If you pay eBay's automated billing system more, send us an eBay message and we'll fix it. We have many ways to adjust an invoice. And, we can issue a refund on any overcharge you pay eBay. We don't prefer the refund method because there's always a possibility that eBay or PayPal could charge you a nominal fee on the refund.
