The bottom of the filter includes a self-venting water drain in the clear water collection bowl so you can see the separated water and large debris and know when it is time to drain. Mounting bracket is made from lightweight and corrosion resistant cast aluminum. 2 fuel inlet and 2 fuel outlet ports allow you to have fuel come in and out from one or both sides of the filter, giving you multiple plumbing options. 2 plugs are included if you only need 1 inlet and 1 outlet port. Fuel ports are 3/8" NPT threaded for easy connection with common brass, plastic, zinc plated steel or stainless steel fittings. 1/4" NPT gauge port also includes a plug if you do not want to use a gauge to monitor the filter. You can use Racor S3229 or if you do not want to use the clear bowl you can use Wix 33418 12 Micron, Purolator PER96, Baldwin BF5813, or Donaldson P558010 20 Micron replacement elements.
