THE PLAQUE READS NORTH AMERICAN, SO I AM ASSUMING THAT IS THE PATTERN, BUT I AM NOT AN EXPERT. THIS PIECE WEIGHS A TAD MORE THAN 13 OUNCES. I BELIEVE SILVER SOLDERED IS A TECHNIQUE OF SILVER PLATING. I HAVE NOT ATTEMPTED TO POLISH THIS AS IT IS SO OLD AND I UNDERSTAND THAT ORIGINAL PATINAS ARE BEST.
