Shaft details NEF (Non Euro Fitting) / Roundshaft type shaft / spindle This movement is for 'push-on' hands where the shaft is defined as follows; hour hand shaft diameter: 5.0mm minute hand shaft diameter: 3.5mm second hand pin diameter: 0.8mm--> Shaft length: Choose a size from the list. The shaft length of the movement is measured from the flat face of the movement's body to the tip of the hands shaft. Match your original movement for replacements or choose a length with allowance for dial clearance, dial thickness and say 2mm for the fixings. 7.8mm. Includes recessed mounting nut. 10.5mm. Fixing nut type Mounting thread diameter: 7.5mm (standard thread). We offer a choice in the type of fixing nut. The price is the same. Hex nut and washer includes rubber washer, and flat metal washer with brass fixing nut. The rubber washer is intended to sit behind the clock dial. The brass washer and nut is fitted at the front of the dial. Slotted round nut includes rubber washer with round brass fixing nut. The round nut doesn't need the metal washer and gives a smarter finish. It uses 1mm less of the threaded shaft so can be used for thicker dials. A deeper version is available which uses 2mm less of the threaded shaft. It needs a hole diameter of 10mm. --> Hanger A metal hanger is available which is pushed into a slot at the rear of the movement. Battery type standard AA (not included).
