Description: Public Papers of the Presidents - John F. Kennedy 1961 - This 60+ year-old hardcover contains 900+ pages devoted to President Kennedy's public messages, speeches and statements between January 20 - December 31, 1961. I am not sure if this was issued with a dust jacket, but if so, this one does NOT have it. The cover and all pages, which are cream-colored, are attached. The front cover has wear and rounding at all corners, the top left-hand corner has a small tear, there is a little color loss from wear at the spine; the first inside page has writing in pencil at the top left- and right-hand corners; the inside page with President Kennedy's picture is separating from the other interior page, 10 interior pages have creasing at the bottom corner, pages 1-3 have text underlined/referenced with pencil, pages 395 to 404 has lightly creased corners, pages 404 and 405 has some lines in pen and also in imprint and some staining from what appears to be a paper clip that was used as a bookmark; a few dozen pages - from approx. 868 to the end of the book have a center crease (it almost looks like a subscription crease); the back cover has wear at all the corners; the binding has a small tear at the top right-hand edge, the bottom edge has wear and color loss.
