Description: Prince Charles will be King in May, 2023. His uniform is certainly going to change...so get this piece of history! With each passing year, this doll gets more precious. Princess Diana and Prince Charles Royal Wedding Dolls Danbury Mint 1986. Porcelain, brass sabre, and her dress is silk. My dolls have been in a plastic tote for 17 years, her dress is starting to yellow & has a 70" long train (of which I've never unravled). His shoe broke in 2 pcs (easily fixed) and looking at other listings, he doesn't have his hat. Diana has the stamp of "Danbury Mint" on her back. Her eyes look real! (Basically, I bought these online, looked at them and stored them. They've never been on display in my home). I bought them in this condition which was listed as "fair" in 2008 with no box or certificate. Both dolls come with a wooden stands. Danbury Mint doesn't have an archive file to determine the cost when created; however, I am sure they were offered on an easy-payment plan. Ships via USPS, within the USA only. No oversea's addresses or post office boxes. 2023: Someone in Canada bought these, I drove around obtaining shipping quotes (FedEx, UPS, DHL, USPS). The price to ship was $58.00!. Needless to say the order was refunded by request of the buyer. But, just so you know, the shipping is what-it-is.
