Prince and the Revolution 1984 Purple Rain Promo Poster When Doves Cry

Description: This vintage 1984 promotional poster was for the album, Music from the Motion Picture Purple Rain, on Warner Brothers Records , by Prince and the Revolution. Poster was printed in limited quantities and distributed in select U.S.A. record stores and radio stations to promote the new album, the new single “When Doves Cry” and the movie release. This is NOT the folded limited edition poster that was included in early versions of the album release. Poster has some minor edge wear ( see photo #3 ) but overall is in excellent condition. Colors are vivid since poster has been in storage for 40 years. I worked at various music stores over 25 years and stashed plenty of posters along the way. The attic is full, and the closets are stuffed, so it is time to share with other music fans and collectors. Poster dimensions are 22 in. length x 28 in. width.
