Thanks! The shelf is painted in my oatmeal color, creamy white. It measures at 36" wide, 10" high, 6.50” deep. As with all of my work, it's hand planed across the surfaces. The shelf is nice and beefy, the top and sides are approximately 1.50" thick! There is a plate groove on top. The sides are notched into the top, and the board with the square nails is notched in too. Those nails are really a nice addition too. I really fussed with the shelf, putting the same extensive finish on it, as I do with my full size pieces. It takes a lot of time to have authenticity, be more than just a selling phrase. It comes with 2 nice sturdy hangers for the back. If you order one with one of my pieces that ships freight (not the wall cupboards, they ship Fedex) the shipping for the shelf would be eliminated, because the shelf can be put in the shipping box too.
