This is a very pretty Etruscan majolica plate depicting a cherub riding a winged gryphon at the center, ca. 1880. It is in very good antique condition with a few small professionally repaired chips to its rim which are hardly detracting from its beauty and is consistent with its age and uses. Like most antique majolica plates made in that era, it has some minute discolorations, and wears which I mentioned in here solely for complete record. It has an old Etruscan mark indicating that it was made in the earlier period. Please disregard the lighting glares. Our Ref: 4226
