It is made of plastic. The tip opening measures 1.07mm (.042"). This mouthpiece is in excellent used condition. In fact, it looks like it might well have never been played on, but I don't know that for sure, so I have listed it as 'used' just to be on the safe side. The facing is perfectly smooth. There are no tooth indentations, or even scratches for that matter, on the beak. It is still black and shiny, and the logo/markings are clear. There is barely a scratch on the exterior. The cork is in excellent condition...it feels like it's never been greased up for use. This mouthpiece has been cleaned/sanitized. Also included are the cap and ligature shown. These items are definitely used, but still in very good condition. The ligature is not cracked or bent out of shape, and the screws work properly. The cap is not dented or bent.
