Paläontologie" (Natural History of Mineral World for school and home, 2nd Volume: Geology and Paleontology), published by "J.F.Schreiber", in Esslingen/Stuttgart, Germany, 1888. Dr. Gustav Adolf Kenngott (1818 - 1897) acquired benefit for himself with the development of the Petrology and Mineralogy. The emphasis of its work lay in systematic mineralogical investigations in the Carpathian Mountains. He is also the author of several text books of the Petrography and Mineralogy. In 1856 he became professor for Mineralogy at the "Eidgenössische Technische Hochschule Zurich", and 19 years later he became the director of this university focusing on engineering sciences. Natural scientist Dr. Friedrich Rolle (1827 - 1887) graduated in 1852 at the University of Tübingen. He worked as geologist, consultant and advisor for some geological enterprises, took up the exchanges of letters with Charles Darwin or Ernst Haeckel while publishing several books about Geology and Paleontology.
