Description: Up for your consideration is a amazing Pre Columbian Chimu Brownware Vessel Figure - PERU - 1000 to 1450 AD. Measures 4 inches long by 2.5 inches long. I believe it’s a whistle but my Grandfather used it for incense. I believe this to be from Peru. It was picked up by my Grandfather in his travels in the 1930’s. He was a British Military Officer during WW II and later a Diplomat. He spent a great deal of time in South America, particularly in Peru. This piece could be from another country in South America however when it passed to me it was in a box labeled Peru. One of many items that my Grandfather passed to me. From my collection.
