Pre-1964 Winchester Model 70 Featherweight Barrel in .308 Win, Unfired Condition

Description: This Pre-1964 Winchester Model 70 Featherweight rifle barrel is in .308 Winchester and it appears to be in unfired condition from the early 1950s, although I have listed it as in just excellent condition. There is no date of manufacture stamped under the chamber area, but the front sight ramp is stippled rather than serrated, which is an indication that this barrel was a very early 1950s production Featherweight. The bore is perfect and the Winchester factory bluing is 100% without any damage to the the finish from storage. There are no signs of either a front sight or rear sight having ever been installed or removed, which is further proof that this barrel is New Old Stock rather than a takeoff barrel. Early production .308 Featherweight barrels with the stippled ramp are rare and they seldom seen in this condition.
