Description: See the photos of this grouping that I acquired from an estate back, I think, in the 1980s. Never before seen or offered for sale! The lot consists of a J.E. Condict, New York marked leather cap box in very nice condition. Stuffed inside of the box were 7 Confederate bills or notes in tattered condition. There is also a small, concealable knife with a corn cob handle. The whole grouping appears to be items owned by a returning soldier POW but I have no documentation to support this claim and is only my opinion after 50+ years of collecting. (I could, however, make up a great story at no extra charge!) This lot is for the advanced collector who only collects items in a virgin state that have never been "messed" with. See photos for condition. Like everything I list, this lot is nicer than my amateurish photos indicate. Questions? 4045474128 Shipping, handling, and insurance in the US is $9.99.
