Description: This unassewmbled china painted doll is "Nayama" – is 28” tall when finished and a repro from “Children of the World” collection by Otto Lindeman of Germany. Handcrafted, poured/painted by doll artisan Gwen Bentley. Nayama Is a sculpt by John Nissen a famous Danish sculptor. Until 1998 his molds were only available in (26”-28”) size and were licensed to Otto Linderman of Germany. Smaller molds were made; but molds to make the larger dolls have not been available since 2001.This porcelain doll kit is perfect for anyone who wants to create their own beautiful porcelain doll. The kit includes a body pattern, head, neck button, arm, and leg, all of which are compatible with a 28-inch doll. The kit is from a mold scuplted by Doll Artist John Nissen, and is perfect for experienced collectors. The doll is made of high-quality porcelain material, and the set includes a body pattern. This vintage kit is a great addition to any doll making collection. Kit is poured from the finest porcelain using multiple china paint firings. Includes preset body armature for poseability.
