Those who connected their games to the internet during the event period could download an exclusive item which triggered a special event where players could unlock a new area of the map which lets them access a beautiful flower garden known as Flower Paradise where you can find and catch Shaymin. This item is known as Oak’s Letter, and by reaching route 224, you can meet up with Professor Oak and unlock a path to Flower Paradise. This item was only available via this wifi distribution, and it was only downloadable between the previously mentioned start date of September 28th, and the distribution’s end date; November 8th, 2009. Unfortunately, once the event date passed, the event could no longer be downloaded or accessed nor was ever distributed online again, and even more unfortunately, the Oak’s Letter event was never officially distributed to Pokemon Diamond and Pearl despite the event being in the game and functioning completely properly. With this distribution service, I can distribute Oak’s Letter and its associated Wonder Card onto your Pokemon Diamond, Pearl and Platinum game saves and allow you to trigger the event once more, or in the case of Diamond and Pearl, trigger the event for the first time. This distribution results in you receiving the 100% authentic and genuine Oak's Letter Wonder Card, with the exception of Diamond and Pearl, which as previously mentioned, never had a wifi event or any type of distribution for the Oak's Letter item, and therefore is illegitimate. This distribution service is meant to allow those who want to gain access to the Oak’s Letter event the opportunity to do so many years after the original distribution event has passed. This event makes a great gift for those looking to relive secret Pokemon events, those looking to complete their Pokedex, event Pokemon collectors, among many other things. When the distribution service(s) is/are complete and I’ve gotten confirmation from you that all of the work I’ve done on your game(s) looks correct and as you want it, I will mail your game(s) back to you as soon as I can and you’ll be free to use your new Oak’s Letter(s) once your package makes a safe return. As previously stated, the Oak’s Letter event was never distributed for Pokemon Diamond and Pearl, and thus the event is by all means completely illegitimate in those games - you cannot transfer the Shaymin caught in Pokemon Diamond and Pearl to Pokemon Bank and Home, as it has been blacklisted by GameFreak. The Oak’s Letter distributed in this service for Pokemon Platinum, on the other hand, results in the original event Wonder Card being on your game(s), and both it and the Shaymin you can catch are 100% legitimate and legal and can be transferred to Pokemon Bank and Home. Detailed Information:If you have not reached Jubilife City and have not unlocked Mystery Gift, you will be unable to participate in this distribution service. For those who have reached Jubilife City (which you likely have since you go there even before the first gym badge) and do not have Mystery Gift unlocked, you can unlock it like so: On the 3rd Floor of the Jubilife TV Station, you will find this couple. Talk to the guy, and when he asks you to input a greeting, put “EVERYONE HAPPY” as the first two words, followed by “WI-FI CONNECTION” as the next two. If you did everything correctly, you should now have the Mystery Gift option in the main menu. Assuming you have Mystery Gift unlocked, I will distribute the Oak’s Letter event item and its Wonder Card onto your save once it arrives. Please be aware that if there isn’t enough space in your Wonder Card inventory that I will have to delete one to make space for the Oak’s Letter Wonder Card, and more importantly, so that I can send you Oak’s Letter. All you need to do after it has been distributed is to visit any PokeMart and talk to the man in green who stands in front of the counter. You will then be given your new Oak’s Letter key item! In order to activate/use Oak’s Letter, you will need to have entered Diamond, Pearl, and/or Platinum’s postgame and unlocked the National Dex upgrade for your Pokedex. This is very important, as the event will not trigger if you do not have the National Dex upgrade. These thankfully are the only two requirements you need to have completed in order to use the item. Once you have Oak’s Letter and have met the requirements, all that’s left to do is reach the end of Route 224, where if you have done everything correctly, Oak will be waiting. Upon getting closer, Marley, the girl who you previously met on the same route, will return, claiming she has a fondness for Shaymin and wishes to see it. Professor Oak will then ask you to help him inspect the large white rock found on the route, which he tells is a stone meant for people to note what they are most thankful for. You can then input something that you’re thankful for (as shown in the pictures, thank you for reading this far lol), where upon doing so, the area will transform into a beautiful field of flowers, with Shaymin walking down the newly appeared path. Once the Seabreak Path appears, all that’s left is for you to reach the end of said path (it’s a long one, I recommend using your bike), where you will then reach the Flower Paradise. Once there, you will find Shaymin awaiting you at its center. Now all that’s left is for you to interact with Shaymin, and the wild encounter with Shaymin will begin! Please be aware that Shaymin’s Sky Form does not exist in Pokemon Diamond and Pearl, as the form was introduced in Pokemon Platinum. Please note that Oak’s Letter along with the Shaymin event it triggers are not in Pokemon HeartGold or SoulSilver; it is an event exclusive to Pokemon Diamond, Pearl and Platinum. This section is frequently updated with new questions and improved/more detailed answers. “Do my GBA Pokemon game’s internal clock battery being dead matter for this service?:”No - your Pokemon game’s internal battery does not affect my ability to perform this service for you in any way regardless of if it is still functional or currently dead. “Do you offer a service to replace a GB/GBC/GBA Pokemon game’s dead (internal clock) battery?”Unfortunately not as of this moment, though I want to in the future. Once I feel comfortable enough with the soldering process (and of course have spare batteries), I will consider it further. “Can I purchase a cartridge with the events already on them, rather than mailing my own game in?”No - I only have one of each Pokemon game, and they are my own personal cartridges. This will very likely never be something I offer, unless I happen to stumble upon spare copies through some means. Please do not bank on the small chance of this happening. “Is this service done via cheating (GameShark, Action Replay, etc)?”Typically, none of my services involve cheating in any way and are all done to be as authentically as possible. Any that may be considered cheating or not legitimate are explicitly stated as such within their respective descriptions. Feel free to ask about the specific ones if you so wish. “Do you take requests for special and/or custom orders?”I cannot guarantee that I’ll be able to help with specific and custom requests, but it never hurts to ask. Every custom request I’ve received (assuming it’s not about mailing you a cartridge with events loaded on them) I have succeeded in fulfilling as of typing this, so hopefully I can keep that streak going. “Do you offer your services internationally? Can I mail my game in despite being outside of the US?”Yes, all of my services are currently set up for national shipping. Just to say, please be aware of the high costs that come from partaking from outside of the US since you are paying for both shipping to and from. If purchasing multiple services from me and shipping does not automatically combine, which it seems to not do if buying overseas, please let me know so I can refund you the $25 back. “Do these services work on non-English cartridges?”Yes, a vast majority of my services will work on non-english cartridges. Naturally some of them require a bit of a different process, such as if you want the Oak’s Letter distribution service performed on a Japanese copy of Platinum, I would instead distribute the authentic Japanese Wonder Card instead of the English one since it wouldn’t work properly, but the end result would still be the same ans result in you receiving an authentic Oak’s Letter. “Do I have to send in my system along with the game?”In regards to cartridges being played on GameBoy, GameBoy Color, GameBoy Advance, Nintendo DS, and Nintendo 3DS, no - those cartridges’ save files are stored within the cartridges themselves, rather than something like the Nintendo Switch save files, which are stored on the system itself regardless of if playing a game physically or digitally. For non-cartridge/digital games however, most of which in this case refer to the 3DS (eShop, Virtual Console), then yes, you would need to send in your entire system. “Is there any way we can communicate outside of eBay messaging?”Yes - you are free to send me a friend request and message me on Discord via my ID of Mvw#0426 - this is very likely the best way to message me, as I’m very active on there (though before friending me, please send a message on eBay letting me know of you sending a friend request so I know who sent it and whether or not to accept said friend request or not.). For the record, I do want to say that the account used is still my personal Discord - I don’t have a separate business account or anything, so do with that as you will. “Can you transfer this Pokemon up to a different generation and trade/transfer it from there?”All events shown are technically compatible with all future generations unless they’re a Ticket/Item distribution service like the Eon Ticket or are specifically mentioned to not transfer up (to Bank and Home), so if you want a Generation 3 WishMaker Jirachi in Pokemon Black 2 for example, let me know and we can discuss this. I’m aware that many will want me to transfer these up into Bank and Home for trading purposes, and yes, I can go ahead and do that too if you so wish. With that said, please be aware it may take a bit of time to transfer everything upwards. “Do you plan to offer services for other Pokemon games (XY, SM, USUM, LGPE, SWSH, BDSP, PLA, SV, Home, etc)?”I definitely have plans for services for other Pokemon titles in the future, though I don’t have much more concrete information to give at present time. Making these services is a lot more work on my end than it may seem, since I have to write up the description (which as I’m sure you can tell, I always make as thorough and detailed as possible), make the thumbnail, take the best pictures possible, update previous descriptions to include the new listing as a service I offer, update the Q&A if required, and so on. Regardless, this does tie into the special requests and custom orders section too - if you’d like me to perform a service on any of these games, feel free to ask and I’ll see what I can do here as well. “Do your services run for a limited time only? Do the listings end once the quantity reaches zero? Should I purchase now to avoid missing out? Don’t worry - I plan to go ahead and keep these services going for as long as I can, though there will likely be times in the future where I temporarily stop working on them for a bit, likely due to school or vacations and such. Outside of that, no, I do not plan to stop my services anytime soon. Additionally, I always increase the quantity of each service when it gets low, so you will always be able to purchase in the future. With that all said, I advise you to please not purchase unless you feel you are ready to mail your game out, as admittedly due to the way eBay is set up, they do expect me to purchase a shipping label for use within the coming days after a purchase is made, so to avoid that, it is best to wait until you feel ready to proceed with the service. “Why are your shipping times so long? Do I really have to wait that long to receive my game back?”Don’t worry - the shipping times and estimated delivery dates shown are not correct whatsoever. The estimated shipping and delivery times only show as such a long time purely so I can give the customer as long of a time period as I possibly can to mail their game out. As mentioned in the previous question’s response, eBay expects me to purchase and prepare a shipping label after a certain period of time, so I have the maximum shipping time set to give as much time as possible for the customer to get their package ready and the like. Keep in mind that I naturally only want to purchase a shipping label when I’m ready to actually ship, so purchasing one and then having it expire is definitely not something I’d like to have happen. “How do I know this service is legit? How do I know you will mail my game back?”Easily my most commonly asked question, and one I naturally fully understand. Sending your game to someone you don’t know can be very intimidating and concerning, so I hope the reasons I give share can be understood and go beyond “that’s morally wrong!” To start, please keep in mind that in order for me to actually receive your game, I have to send you my address, so if I ever were to not send your game back, you now have my address, proof of a valid purchase, a listing linked to said purchase, and an account you can report to eBay. I also can give out my full name when giving my address if anyone needs it for their package, so you would have even more information on me as an individual you could report if need be. I hope that these reasons give you a good idea of why such wouldn't be feasible on my end, and ultimately an incredibly poor idea.
