Billed as Pogo, the band made their debut at a Monday hoot night. Mondays in 1968 October were 7th, 14th, and 21st. They played a five song set. It immediately gets rave notices for their tight, energetic and upbeat sets. They managed to bank effectively on their positive energy and what appeared at the time to be a logical extension of Furay and Messina's work on the final Buffalo Springfield album Last Time Around.
