The smooth white skin sets it apart. The mother tree is 50yr old and stands 3-4m. Some sources suggest its native to the highest regions of Zona da Mata in Minas Gerais and the arboreal retingas of Espirito Santo. The fruit is smooth yellowish green when ripe and sweet with no acidity, the peel also has an excellent flavor and can be used in jams and liqueurs.
