Description: Up for sale here is this complete recap kit for the Pioneer KXM-021-A motor and the Marantz PM2330001 motor. This motor was used in several different Pioneer turntables, including the PL-51, PL-55, PL-55D, PL-55X, PL-55DX, and PL-71. It was also used in the early Marantz 6300 turntables. It is not used in ALL of those, so this kit is only if your motor says "KXM-021-A" or "PM2330001" on it. This will take care of most of the circuit-board-related issues you will see with these motors, except if you have bad transistors, which is rare but possible. This motor uses 3 2SC1346 (replace with KSC2383), 4 2SC828 (replace with KSC1845), and 4 2SA564 (replace with KSA992). I have these replacement transistors listed on eBay. This kit includes replacements for all 9 electrolytic and tantalum capacitors on the motor board. These are extremely high-quality Nichicon PW caps and one Wima film cap, the same parts I use when I work on vintage stereo gear. I will include surprisingly well-written instructions, but this is moderately complicated, and you should know what you're doing and have a decent soldering iron.
