It does not form a winter hibernacula (resting bud). The small flowers are generally pink, but may be white, on scapes with multiple blossoms. Pink Sundews flower from May to August and frequently produce abundant seeds, giving them a nice spreading habitat. Seeds may be stored cool and dry without stratification (cold-wet period). Drosera capillarisis an ideal delight in a terrarium, and a great companion in the collection or bog garden.
