Description: Up for sale is a pretty Christie face mold Barbie who's been given a head of molded pink and pearl swirl hair with pink glitter highlights! This lovely doll is on a belly button body w/ big feet. Body was a Butterfly tattoo art doll, so she's got a butterfly on her belly. She comes to you wearing a cute matching pink jacket and shorts set and a t-shirt. Doll has brown eyes, shimmery eyeshadow, and pink lips. FLAW NOTE: She has one slightly chewed on hand. I check to make sure the dolls don't smell smokey before reselling. We do have 3 crazy dogs. Rooting and Doll info: I use the knotting method to reroot my dolls. This method I find hold hair in place the best. I have been rerooting since the early 90's. I have dolls that I rerooted from back then where the hair is still perfect and in place. Rooting definitions: Ponytail/ PT: These dolls have been rooted like the original Barbies. They have 2 layers of hair rooted around their heads on the outside. The hair is then styled up into a ponytail. These dolls are designed to keep their hair that way. Their heads are otherwise bald in the middle. Ponytails: These dolls have 2 ponytails - they are each rooted just like a Ponytail dolls. They will have bald sections between each ponytail. They are rooted w/ a full part down the head. Hair cannot be taken out of ponytails and styled to lay flat. Full Head: These dolls have been rerooted with a full head of hair. Sometimes they might have a part, sometimes they don't. Hair is thick and full. There might be empty holes, I don't always put hair in every hole, this assures that the hair lays better and the head isn't overly stuffed w/ knots. Types of hair used: I use a variety of hair types. For Curly hair dolls I use vintage bagged doll hair. The hair is pre-curled. Crunchy curl hair: This hair is very plastic feeling but it's shiny and looks really cute on dolls. Great for dressing dolls in big ball gowns. When I use it on full heads it can be brushed and molded into bubble cuts and other cute styles. Mini-curls and standard curls: These are softer hair. I mostly use a brand where the hair stays in the curls pretty well, but over working it will cause the hair to lose it's curlFuzzy Straight hair: This is kanekalon hair used by hair styling professionals. Hair is synthetic and will have a wiry look when you get it. Even on ponytails this hair is great for styling - you can add braids or it's great for boil perming. This hair is fun because I can get it in a variety of colors.Ethnic wavy hair: This hair comes pre-kinked and again can be braided and boil permed. Texture and style looks natural for African American of African descent dolls. Smooth Straight hair: This is high quality kanekalon hair. I use it for full heads and ponytails. Hair is very smooth and slick - it is great for boil perming. Other Doll styles Molded Hair Dolls These dolls are my unique way of saving badly damaged dolls. I will at times have heads that won't cooperate for rerooting and they end up w/ large rips along the scalp, or I find that their holes are so small and spaced together that I don't want to risk trying to reroot them. Each doll is fully plucked of hair before I begin to redo them. I use acrylic modeling texture medium and paints to build up cute pixie styles on the doll's heads. Each of these dolls are unique. I also tend to put them on my lowest quality bodies or "unique" bodies like mermaid, painted legs, fairy bodies, etc. These are 100% the barest of rescue dolls. Unless they have a very unique face mold, occasionally I'll put them on a nicer body to sell a bit higher in price, but for the most part they are very inexpensive. What comes with your doll: Dolls come with outfits and accessories mentioned in listing. Anything else you might see stands, other accessories are not included in listing. Shipping Info: Unfortunately, I do not offer International shipping. Please do not ask for exceptions. I do NOT ship via First Class or Media Mail, please do NOT ask me for an exception. Vintage dolls will not go in an envelope, they will only ship in boxes. Other toys such as those in package will only be shipped via Priority Flat rate Boxes to avoid the packaging getting crushed.
