Description: Philippines 20 centavos, 1937 M, struck at the Manila mint. The piece is struck in .750 silver, and is approx. 21 mm in diameter. The obverse shows the arms of the U.S. Commonwealth, an eagle above a shield, and the date below. The mint mark is near the rim to the left of the date. The reverse shows a representation of Liberty, standing, right hand holding a hammer, resting on an anvil. In the background to the right is active volcano, Mt. Mayon. The piece has some toning around the borders on both sides, and some lighter, light brown toning across the fields. The silver color beneath still very visible along with the luster.
