Description: G. A. Pfretzschner 4/4 violin from the 1920’s made in Markneukirchen, Germany. Quality build with tight grained spruce top, solid flamed maple back & sides, maple neck and solid slab ebony finger board. Original varnish. No cracks on the top or back. The peg box shows a crack on the bass side. There is some sort of paper overlay on the finger board that can be peeled off. Comes with old case and disassembled bow. Tailpiece, chin rest and frog are in the case. Great restoration candidate. Will ship internationally.
