The subject matter takes place from the Revolutionary War up to The War of 1812. They look like they were meant to be for a book, but I can't find any info of what book they were for or if they were published. Each one is double matted with a wood frame that looks original to the 70's, and all have minor wear on the frame and old tape on the back. In addition, this one has separation of the four wood sides in all four corners. This is one of three with some type of anti-glare glass. The painting is relatively clear when you look at it straight on, but it looks blurry at an angle. This one shows two Royal Navy personnel in the galley, one dressed in uniform and the cook with a ladle and pots in the background.
