But, we ended up moving and it has been along for the ride from place to place. The collar comes with battery included. But i have no idea how long they last or are good for. So although it's new never been used the batteries may need replaced for the longest use of the unit. Kinda like remotes that come with batteries that only work a short time or not at all and have to be replaced when setting up. What's included: If it is not pictured, it is not included.
