Description: How I Measure (I use a fabric tape measure so please do the same for the most accurate comparison) I measure the waist by lying the jeans flat and aligning the front and back together then measuring straight across the top, then doubling it. The hips, I lay the jeans flat but let them settle in their natural shape (usually the front dips down and is lower than the back). I then measure straight across, side to side, center to the top of the waistband and bottom of crotch where the inseam meets the rise seam. I measure straight across (w/out doubling it). I do the same with the thighs, side to side, about 4 inches below the top of the inseam. The knee and leg opening are side to side as well (without doubling).
