I temporarily put a battery in it and it tested okay, the battery check light worked, the shutter worked, the film advance worked but was sluggish returning to the starting place. Mirror goes up and down good. Lens looks good.The case is present but has wear / tear. Instructions are present, a couple pages are loose. A skylight filter is also included. Sold as found.The Pentax ME, made in the late 1970's, has aperture-preferred automatic electronic exposure control. The only manual settings are 1/100 and Bulb. It runs on two common A76 cells. You focus and pick the aperture, and the Pentax ME picks the shutter speed automatically.One online reviewer states (who gave the camera a good review): The viewfinder of the Pentax ME is bigger than the finder any Nikon SLR.In order to use the camera, it will need two standard batteries - either A76, S76, LR44, G13 or etc. For testing, I used a Duracell Lithium 1/3 N which is a single battery and is easier to put in instead of two batteries.
