At the time Pelikan was already known for making colorful models, but the new striped barrels were a success and broke the long German tradition of designing all black models. Today this model would be equivalent to those of the Pelikan Souverän range. Really a lovely pen! The pen is very well preserved. It will fit into any collection and is a quality pen that will function, as a daily writing instrument perfectly.
