Description: I am by no means an expert on pottery. I don't believe this is a vintage or antique pot. I think it's very contemporary. Note that it does not have the design detail on the lid or around the waist that some similar pots have. I think it looks better that way. Also, the Chesterfield stamp on the bottom is just stamped on and not engraved. The pot is about 10" wide handle to handle. And 8" the other way. It's about 6" tall without the lid. The lid adds maybe 2". The mouth of the piece is about 5.75" ledge to ledge. Similar listings say it holds 4 quarts. It weighs about 4 lbs. 8 oz. When I ship it, I will wrap each piece individually in bubble wrap and place a lot of styrofoam peanuts in the box. If there are any questions, please ask.
