In the opening sequence of "Charlie Brown All Stars" from 1966, the team loses the game because Charlie Brown dropped the ball and now the teammates refuse to play with good ol’ Charlie Brown. This heroic attempt to catch the ball takes him in the house, up the stairs, down the stairs and then back out to the field. The ball landing in his mitt, but doesn’t stay there for very long. The limited edition cel is hand-inked and hand-painted. This is a 2-layer cel set-up; the stairs' railings on the top level and Charlie Brown on the 2nd level. A giclée storyboard print, based on original art created by Larry Leichliter and depicting how the scene played out in the original film, accompanies the cel set-up and is signed by Larry. Both bear the studio seal of authenticity and are serial numbered.
