DESCRIPTION Pat Lundy - “Only Love Spoken Here” RCA Records APL1-0215 (Stereo) from 1973. Great and Hard To Find Female Pop Soul / Funk Vocal Album from Pat Lundy. Backed by a great Band featuring Billy Butler, Herb Lovelle, Bert Keyes, Gordon Edwards, Ralph McDonald, Frank Wess, Ernie Royal and more. On the Orange RCA Stereo Labels. CONDITION The Sleeve is in nice shape. There is some slight shelf wear. There is a little corner softening and a small crease in the upper right corner. There is an old price sticker - should be easily removable - in the upper right corner. There is a promo stamp in the upper left corner on the back. There is some light, barely visible staining on the back cover, looks like a quick “spill and wipe” situation. Still, in nice solid shape with no splits, cut-outs, writing, tears, etc. and I would rate it at VG. The Vinyl itself is in clean, Glossy condition looking to have been lightly played. If you look closely you can spot a couple light scuffs but nothing serious and nothing that affects play. Plays pretty much perfectly and should probably rate Near Mint but I am calling it EX to account for the scuffs. There is an old price tag on the A-side - again, should be easy to remove - but otherwise the labels are also Near Mint. I have summarized the important (i.e. I think everyone knows what Mint means) points below in Goldmine's words: Very Good Plus (VG+): Record surfaces may show some slight signs of wear and may have slight scuffs or very light scratches that don't affect one's listening experience. Slight warps that do not affect the sound are OK. Very Good (VG): Surface noise will be evident upon playing,... Groove wear will start to be noticeable, as will light scratches (deep enough to feel with a fingernail) that will affect the sound. I stand by my grades but would like us to be on the same page so no problems arise. I have been selling Vintage Vinyl for over twenty years on the net and I can count the returns I've had on one hand so I believe my grading is fair and accurate. One important note, I try to grade to these Goldmine guides as best as I can understand and apply them. This gives us both a written standard to go by rather than having to guess. But.... it also means that I don't issue refunds over differences of opinion in grading i.e. "That's not MY idea of a VG record!" - I don't know what your standards are and, as such, can't grade to them.
