Description: Passenger Car Interior KIT for Rivarossi 85ft Heavy-Weight Observation Car [ HO ] Miscellaneous Railroad Company # 42Obs-RivHW The interior was designed to fit into the Rivarossi 85ft Heavyweight Cafe, Bar, Lounge Observation Car This KIT consists of 2 pieces to be glued together to create the interior.(Lead sheet is not included in the kit) The two parts fit together well, but you must glue them together. “Super Glue” works well, but see the warning below. Align the parts with a ruler to keep them straight while gluing. The KIT features a small kitchen, seating for 18 (tiny) diners, a small Bar (with shelves for refreshments) and a lounge-observation area with seating for 24 tiny passengers. The kitchen area has a slot to accommodate the roof-window glass. 8 “Tea tables” have been included as a feature in the observation area. They are a small diameter, so they would be easily removed if you don’t like them. There are no interior details in the lavatory as they would not be seen. The production process now includes a technique to smooth the floor and table tops. There may be a little trimming, sanding or filing involved. The product is manufactured from beige aliphatic polyester resin and can be painted. Paint and populate the interior before installation. Note: Seated and standing “passengers” feet need to be trimmed off because the interior floor is high to accommodate the LSW078 underneath. Please note: LSW products are not included in the interior kits. The interior fits over the floor protrusions to aid in locating. Test Fit BEFORE gluing!! Bond the interior to the previously installed LSW078 with automotive weather-stripping glue. An illustrated instruction sheet is included with every purchase. Assembled Length of the Interior = approximately 9 31/32 inches; Height = 7/8 inch Weight of the Interior = 0.8oz. Warning! Do not install the interior in the passenger car sooner than 12 hours after using “Super Glue”. Cyanoacrylate adhesives release fumes that will attack and mar your windows and other surfaces.
