Description: I truly don't know just what to say or what is the appropriate listing value. Not sure how I could. I cannot describe what historic field this fine art work best fits. First of all it is perhaps the only available work of art currently offered from the wonderful Spanish enamel artisan Pascual Fort. Second, is the tremendous history of Pascual Fort to set aside one incredible talent to focus on the creation of the unique facility and organization, the MiniPrint De Cadaques with its' own historical artistic value. Third, it was Pascual Fort's wonderful art exposition in Madrid that earned him a spot alongside the greatest Spanish artists in the 1964/1965 New York World's Fair Spanish Pavilion. Then there was the Vatican Pavilion featuring the historic display of the magnificent Pieta by Michelangelo. On a personal level it has been a true treasure as I was 6 years old when the family attended the N Y World's Fair. To this end, recorded history may not be fully accurate, but it is also representative of a daring set of parents who took a family of 8 children from New Jersey to Long Island Queens to attend the World's Fair. I can fully understand if they may or may not quite have recorded the facts perfectly. The hand-written provenance envelope has always stated that the enamel copperplate was obtained at the Vatican Exhibit and the depiction of the Nativity and Epiphany Maji arrival certainly equates to that fact. At the same time other written provenance, as seen in photos, and details provided by Pascual's family through the MiniPrint De Cadaques supports that Pascual held an exhibit in, and attached firing facility to, the Spain Pavilion which was near, but not right alongside the Vatican pavilion. It is certainly a simple possibility that both recorded facts are correct and the religious nature of some of Pascual's work led to a scenario where some of his pieces were placed for sale within the Vatican Pavilion. In any case sometimes I just take a deep breath and appreciate the world of history that surrounds this beautiful Enamel Copperplate art work and love the time and dedication granted to include a custom built frame and wonderful detailed solid wood easel style display frame which I believe to be the complete package obtained at the World's Fair. So, as stated I have no way to consider the proper value of this wonderful art work. But, reality dictates that I must start finding appreciative new homes to carry these fine works through to the next generations of art and history lovers. So I will assign a price and as usual include protective free shipping. A worthy charity donation and utilize the "BEST OFFER" format to give true consideration to all fair buyer offers and knowledgeable considerations. Arthur
