Description: Beautiful, needlepoint, gingham rose teacup & saucer made in England, and can be dated by the stamp on the bottom (through some research) to be from 1930s-40s .The double backstamp is unique and quite rare. This set is pre-owned, but in excellent condition, with no cracks, chips, or crazing; as it was kept, unused, displayed in a glass-encased china cabinet all these years. It is truly in excellent condition. Both pieces have crisp ping when tapped.
